Performance coaching series

The difference between coaching and training is that coaching allows the client to think through the issues themselves and come up with their own solutions by using targeted questioning methods. A structured approach is used to assist the client to gain “insights” and then take action to move towards the goal.

We all know that we have better results when we come up with the solutions ourselves rather than being “told” what to do by our managers, partners, board members.

Coaching moves you through a structured process to achieve goals bigger than you would have ever set on your own. What do you really want from your life? What do you REALLY want to achieve?

A coaching program typically lasts for 10 sessions spread over weeks or fortnights and is conducted either face to face or over the telephone. My clients have achieved amazing results by working with me in a coaching scenario. Their revenue has increased; their staff are happier and more motivated. Why not invest in yourself and undertake a coaching program?

Leadership coaching series

This program is designed to be delivered in 10 sessions of 1 hour on an individual or small group basis via telephone or Skype. Heavy emphasis is placed on the participants understanding themselves and their motivators and the impact these have on others (their team).  We also explore getting the best from team members by understanding personality styles and primary systems. As we move through the program, we explore specific issues as they arise in the workplace and work through possible solutions. Outcomes you can expect from a leadership coaching program

  • Better understanding of how you impact those around you (both positively and negatively)
  • Better communication skills
  • Understanding of how to identify motivators and personalities with your team members
  • Strategies to get the best from your team members

I only have time for 10 high impact sessions per month, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Here’s what one of my clients said about my coaching:

Three things I want to acknowledge my coach for are:

Structure. Prior to going into coaching I was a little bit ‘gun-ho’. I did not have a particularly clear vision as to where we needed to be and what we had to achieve. From the first session Gaynor got to know me and my drivers and absolutely helped me refocus and put together a structure and plan in place.

Confidence. At time I my confidence internally took a battering and Gaynor absolutely helped me rebuild this and helped me get back a winning mentality and confidence in my own ability to do this job. I did at times severely doubt myself and my ability to do this however Gaynor helped me through this and instilled confidence in me.

Listening. I cannot thank Gaynor enough for just being at the other end of the phone and listening. Every week it seemed like we had a different set of challenges to overcome and Gaynor listened and helped put plans and structures in place to overcome them. She was certainly inspirational in that aspect and I am not sure I could have got through the last few months without her experience, guidance and knowledge.

Although a fantastic listener and problem solver it was not just that aspect which helped me. At the end of every session I had work to complete and prepare for the next session. This in my view is a vital part of coaching as it meant I was constantly putting into practice everything I had learned and talked about with Gaynor. There may be a tendency to talk through the goals, structures and plans and then not act on them however the work Gaynor makes you do ensures this is not the case. Personally I feel this is vital.
